The outburst of critique was caused by a photo made in Penza that depicts a billboard on Pushkina and Stavskovo streets crossroads. The billboard features a photo of a child, the words “Dreams come true!”, the logo of “The Best Winter City”, as well as the number of the oncoming year (2015) and a signature: “Penza city administration.”

“If dreams come true I wish bad luck to the Penza municipality thieves,” Artemy Lebedev wrote in his LiveJournal.

The message caused large reaction among Internet users who did not restrain themselves expressing their outrage over design theft.

“It’d be ok if they just somehow copied the general style, the squiggles, but just five-fingering the logo… in the 21st century… when our CR [copyright] laws work fairly well… I hope Artemy [Lebedev] tells more later about the copyright fight over this issue and its results (especially retribution for damages),” said one of the commenting LJ users.

As of now, PenzaNews agency has been unable to receive any comment from the city authorities.
