Penza, 28 January 2015. PenzaNews. Three administrative cases have been initiated against administration heads of municipal areas of the Kuznetsky area in the Penza region after the responsible parties failed to ensure the roads are cleared of snow.

As Yulia Makarova, Senior Assistant Attorney of the Region in Media Relations, told PenzaNews agency, the cases are dedicated to the village of Evlashevo, and the Yavleysky and Bolshetruevsky village areas.

“The roads within these jurisdictions are classified as type C roads. According to the legislation, these roads must be cleaned of snow and slippery ice in 6 hours. The prosecution check has shown the officials failed to clean the roads within set time boundaries,” said the agency interlocutor.
