One house in the Issa area of the Penza region out of the eight that were damaged by the freak thunderstorm weather on June 21, 2015, is still under repairs, the acting chairman of the regional government Dmitry Semenov told the press during his visit to the Issa area on Thursday, July 2.

“The works are underway as per agreement with the owner,” he explained, adding that the house in question is unconventional, while the roofs for the rest of the houses have already been repaired.

The restoration is paid by the gubernatorial reserve fund, Dmitry Semenov stressed.

“All the repair projects were reviewed by the state experts in terms of costs and used technologies,” he noted.

Dmitry Semenov emphasized the fact that everybody, including the owners themselves, the local authorities, the regional government and the acting governor Ivan Belozertsev himself, are supervising the works.

“If they find any defects, we will fix them as per the guarantee terms,” the acting deputy chairman of the Penza region government promised.
