Penza, 27 July 2015. PenzaNews. The work crews are currently in the process of demolishing the building on Stroiteley prospekt in Penza that once belonged to the Provincial Bank “Tarkhany,” once one of the most notable elements of the region’s newer history that crumbled during the 2008 financial crisis.

At the moment, the building is sealed off with a tall steel fence, with a digger machine and a boom truck visible behind it.

The front entrance plaque of the former bank building with an already demolished roof still features the word “Tarkhany,” but the words “Provincial Bank” already lost many letters.

According to information poster on the construction fence, the subcontractor of the works is “Yukon,” a company which general director was fined 20,000 rubles in April 2015 for violating construction legislation on Suvorova street, 173 and 175.

Based on the information available in it, the bank building will be replaced by a new one with the pilot title “Mango.” Its ordering customer is a V.V. Gorodnichy, while A.M. Andryushin is listed as the dutyholder for the works.

The information poster features no data on construction deadline and the planned date for the opening of the building.
