In particular, they point out, the vice-mayor reacted to their joint decision to install a fence around the adjacent territories of the apartment building with an outrage and “threw a fit” with public threats.
“Yuri Ilyin promised there will be no fence as long as he remains in his office. He was yelling we are going to regret messing with him, threatened to sic Rostekhnadzor on us,” explained the residents of the apartment building No. 43.
Moreover, according to them, the vice-mayor promised to dig out the recently repaired heat pipeline and leave the building without any heating supply until the fence disappears.
Revolted by such a behavior on the official’s part, the apartment building residents explained that the fence will be installed in accordance with the decision of the house’s general council and on approval on all levels, while the landplot it will protect is included in the cadastre documents for the apartment building and constitutes a joint property of its residents.

Moreover, some deputies from the United Russia party supported our stance – that means not just the population, but the authorities as well are dissatisfied of the official. And how we have the signs he is not just bad at his job, but also rude and offensive towards other people – the man who has taken one of the most crucial positions in Penza, practically being a face of the city’s executive power,” the press service of the CPRF regional committee quotes Georgy Kamnev.
Along with an address to the Georgy Kamnev deputy center, the residents of Pushkina street, 43 apartment building also sent a request on the website of the city administration head Yuri Krivov to evaluate legality of Yuri Ilyin’s actions and his performance as a municipal state servant from an ethical point of view.
