Penza, 4 February 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza region plans to spend 30 million rubles to purchase school buses in 2016, announced the governor Ivan Belozertsev during the grand press conference on Thursday, February 4.

At the moment, 283 transportation vehicles are involved in the system of transportation of children to educational institutions, he clarified.

Moreover, the governor reminded of a federal legislation requirement saying that school buses produced over 10 years ago cannot be used for transporting children.

“We allocated 30 million rubles in 2016 to buy 19 school buses. We will be gradually replacing them, as children’s safety is crucial,” Ivan Belozertsev stressed.
