Penza, 10 April 2016. PenzaNews. The pothole repairs in Penza went underway on Kalinina, Kirova, 8 Marta, Tukhachevskovo, Ushakova, Svobody and Ladozhskaya streets and on Pobedy prospekt on Sunday, April 10.

During the meeting between the city mayor Victor Kuvaytsev and the heads of communal departments on Saturday, April 9, the deputy administration head Yuri Ilyin announced that over 1,800 sq. meters of roads already underwent pothole repairs – which is still less than planned.

Around 1,500 sq. meters of this amount was completed by “Penzadormost,” he added.

Also, Yuri Ilyin pointed out that the quality of used asphalt still leaves much to be desired.

In turn, Victor Kuvaytsev stressed that pothole repairs must be completed with good quality.

“We must see to it,” the mayor said.
