Penza, 8 April 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza region governor Ivan Belozertsev has ordered to quadruple the numbers of road repair crews in Penza after an inspection of currently ongoing repairs that took place on Friday, April 8.

“It is warmer now, the weather allows to conduct repairs in full. We must bring the numbers of workers to the maximum, accelerate the process. Do that, or else the people would simply not understand our actions,” the governor addressed the city administration and the relevant ministries in the regional government.

According to him, increasing the number of repair crews is possible by using regional funds with involving regional repair and construction organizations.

“I would like to point out that doing something fast does not mean the quality needs to suffer. Please monitor very closely the deadlines and quality of repairs,” the head of the region stressed.

Also, after the inspection, Ivan Belozertsev decided to subject the roads leading to Akhuny to capital repairs, instead of the originally scheduled pothole repairs. The additional funding will be provided from the Penza region budget, says the website of the regional government.
