Penza, 14 April 2016. PenzaNews. An illegal pine tree felling site has been discovered in the Penza area of the Penza region.

The illegal activity was discovered during the forest patrol of the Veselovsky area forestry, the press service of the Penza region Forestry Ministry informed Penzanews.

“The live pines were cut down in the quarter 83, division 10,” they clarified.

A total of nearly 2 cubic meters of pine wood was cut down, the ministry added.

“The damages done to the forestry are evaluated at 20,538 rubles. The materials on the case have been addressed to the law enforcement forces,” the press service said.
