Penza, 4 June 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza city hall held a meeting session dedicated to the first stage of the Sura river embankment zone reconstruction on Saturday, June 4.

Reportedly, the reconstruction will be held in three stages, the first of them dedicated to overall improvement.

The procurement auctions are currently ongoing; the subcontractor for developing the cost estimate documentation will be determined on July 1. The city administration allocated 5 million rubles for these purposes.

“The reconstruction of our embankment zone requires daily attention even with the day-to-day tasks. This is a very serious issue, the process itself is very labor-intensive: we must approach it with particular responsibility and understanding,” stressed the Penza city administration head Victor Kuvaytsev.

He also emphasized that the deadlines for the first stage must be clearly defined, says the press service of the city hall.
