“Kanitel-2016” three-day arts and crafts festival begins in Penza

Penza, 11 June 2016. PenzaNews. The second – and now countrywide – arts and crafts festival “Kanitel-2016” launched on Moskovskaya street in Penza on Saturday, June 11.

“Kanitel-2016” three-day arts and crafts festival begins in Penza

During the three-day event, masters of arts and crafts from regions of Russia and Belarus will show their works and share experience.

The program of the festival features workshops on smithing and pottering, caning, carving, and other handicrafts, as well as performances of military and historic clubs.

Moreover, visitors will be able to enjoy musical performances, sample unique foods, and find entertainment for children.

The event is supported by the Penza city administration and the city Department of Culture.
