Penza, 10 July 2016. PenzaNews. The police started check into the theft committed against a 55-year-old woman in the shopping center on Okruzhnaya Street in Penza.

“A citizen filed a claim in the police office No. 4 of the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the city of Penza, she said that a woman, looking familiar to her, caused her bodily injuries and openly stole her food package,” the press service of the Penza region department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation told the news agency PenzaNews.

The department added that the police established involvement of a 51-year-old resident of the city with criminal records.

“She was arrested and taken to the police department for further proceedings. A part of the stolen food is seized,” the press service said adding that the incident circumstances are being investigated.
