Penza, 14 July 2016. PenzaNews. Deprivation of the right to drive a vehicle for the period 4 to 6 months or a fine in the amount of 5 thousand rubles is to be faced by the driver of the marshrutka with a number plate Р332AY 58RUS who tried to quickly cross the intersection of Gagarina and Leonova streets in Penza, crossed double white lines and drove several meters on the oncoming lane. The relevant video was posted on the website of the news agency PenzaNews on July 13. “The driver of the vehicle was identified. Against the citizen, born 1985, there was drawn up a protocol on administrative offense under Part 4, Art. 12.15 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Violating the Rules for Locating a Transport Vehicle on the Road, for Passing Each Other When Driving in Opposite Directions, or for Overtaking,” the press service of the Penza region department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs told the news agency PenzaNews on Thursday, July 14.
The department noted that the materials were sent to the Traffic Police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the city of Penza.
According to the information from the registry of scheduled municipal routes of Penza, the route No. 18 “Arbekovo village – Egorova street” is handled by LLC “Merkuriy.”
As the news agency PenzaNews reported earlier, on 12 July it became known that after posting the recorded video, which reached 1.5 thousand views on YouTube, there was initiated a case against the driver of the bus No. 70 for violating maneuvering rules. The route, reportedly, is handled by LLC “Korporatsiya Dilizhans.”
On 14 July the press service of the regional department of the RF Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that the driver, born 1959, was imposed an administrative fine in the amount of 1 thousand 500 rubles.
In addition, on 13 July on the website of PenzaNews there was posted a video, which shows that the driver of the bus No. 82 did not give way to a female pedestrian at the unregulated crosswalk on Stroiteley prospect in Penza. There has been no reaction to this violation from the law-enforcement agencies so far.
