During the exhibition, held in the framework of the closing ceremony of the school on July 18, the honored guests got acquainted with works of young innovators.

Among the guests there were the Penza region government deputy chairman Valery Bespalov, the regional Education Minister Alexander Voronkov, and the head of the Innovation Policy Management Department in the regional Industry Ministry Pavel Udalov.

Addressing the audience during the official part, Valery Bespalov remarked that not every project presented has the commercial future.

“But the important thing is that you worked and got a lot of energy. You’ll have enough of it for the next academic year,” he said.

After that, the deputy chairman of the regional government handed the governor’s letters of gratitude to the graduates of the “1000-list-nick” program and partners of the “TeenGrad” summer school, and rewards to the most active participants of the school.

Curators of the educational programs were also recognized.

According to Alexander Voronkov, he bows to the representatives of the “Teachers’ Academy,” who are a step ahead of the goals set by the government.

At the end of the ceremony, “TeenGrad” participants sang the song “Time is a genius.”

“TeenGrad” summer school is one of the key activities of the integrated interdepartmental program of involving children and youth of the Penza region in “1000-list-nick” innovative activities.

Eight teams were working in four directions for the first time: “Do it yourself,” “Useful modifications,” “Affordable sport,” “Development game.” Young innovators had a heavy-duty “TeenGrad” technopark at their disposal, which is equipped with 3D- scanners, printers, lasers, and cutters.

While operating, the summer school was visited, for instance, by the creator of the “Callbackkiller” service Alexei Molchanov, the founders of “Picaso 3D” 3D-printers manufacturing company Andrei Isupov and Maksim Anisimov.
