Penza, 22 July 2016. PenzaNews. The head of the Penza region EMERCOM head department, the internal services general major Sergei Kozlov presented a certificate of gratitude and a valuable gift to the pupil of the sixth form of the school No. 69 Daniil Nefedov, who took a 4-year-old child out of the water in the Sputnik-City, the child was then reanimated by the policeman Ilya Anfinagentov.

“That day Daniil Nefedov together with his father and younger brother was resting in the recreation area of the Sputnik-City. While bathing he noticed a boy several meters from him, who had dived but did not come up. The school-boy reacted quickly and ran up to the child. Having found him not moving, he took the child in his arms and got him on the shore, where the policeman reanimated the boy. A person’s life was saved thanks to his fearlessness and dedication,” the press service of the Penza region EMERCOM head department told the news agency PenzaNews.

The department added that Sergei Kozlov thanked the boy for his act, and his parents – for proper raising of their son.

“Daniil Nefedov and Ilya Anfinagentov will be recommended for the medal of EMERCOM of Russia “For the salvation of the drowning.” They also become the nominees in the security and rescuing nomination of the all-Russian festival “Constellation of Courage,” the press service added.
