Penza, 3 August 2016. PenzaNews. Vladimir Kerkhanadzhev, veteran of the Battle for Stalingrad and the Battle of Kursk, chairman of the city council of war, labor, military and law enforcement veterans, has turned 92 on Wednesday, August 3.

He received birthday congratulations from the mayor Victor Kuvaytsev and the Penza head Valery Savelyev.
According to Victor Kuvaytsev, Vladimir Kerkhanadzhev’s biography is long and vivid, and his years are full of invaluable experience and memories of people and events he encountered.
“I would like to express my respect to you for your selfless work for the good of Penza and the region. There is always immense respect and gratitude to those who worked and acted in the name of their country and the native city – and you are one of them, dear Vladimir,” the mayor said.
Also, Victor Kuvaytsev presented Vladimir Kerkhanadzhev with a letter of congratulation and a small gift, says the press service of the city administration.
