Governor: Number of buses on Penza city routes to increase in 2017

Penza, 17 August 2016. PenzaNews. The number of large buses on city routes in Penza is planned to increase in 2017, governor Ivan Belozertsev announced during meetings with citizens in the administration of Leninsky district of the city on Wednesday, August 17.

“The next year, through private companies, investors or municipality with support from the regional budget we will increase the number of large buses,” the head of the region promised.

He informed that the new vehicles will drive on gas motor fuel.

“There is an all-Russian project, under which the state helps the regions to buy buses of large capacity at a reduced price, but the main condition is they have to use more environmentally friendly fuel, have gas engine,” Ivan Belozertsev said.

As the press service of the regional government told PenzaNews, three gas station complexes will be built to provide service to this type of transport.
