“When we changed the heating system, there was a lot of scrap metal left in the basement. We gathered all of it and sold earning nearly 5 thousand rubles. Then we bought paint, lacquer and painted [the facade],” the chairman of house No. 179 board on Rabochaya Street, Kuznetsk Tamara Sidorova.

According to her, the idea to decorate the house with graffiti appeared long ago, but there was no opportunity until now.

The idea was brought to life by the artist and future architect Maria Nazarova.

“A decent drawing is much better than a gray wall. I asked a friend of mine for help. It did not take us long to come up with an idea. We decided to choose a theme from “Adventure Time” cartoon,” she explained.

As a result, not only neighbors, but also the City Hall officials, as well as heads of municipal services appreciated the painting.

As the press service of Kuznetsk administration told PenzaNews, the house was recognized the best in improvement competition.
