Penza, 22 July 2014. PenzaNews. The fifth annual summer bowling championship among the media representatives of the Penza region, organized by news agency “PenzaNews,” will be held at the “Shikana” carting club at 18.00 on Friday, August 15.

Six teams of four people each are expected to take part in the competition.

“Just as last year, five teams will be composed of the representatives of the regional media, and the sixth team will include the most socially active bloggers. This decision was made by the championship organizer and supprted by the general parther of the competition, Penza branch of ‘Rostelecom,’ OJSC. By the way, it is exactly the blogger team who managed to snatch victory during the Fourth championship from the RNTI – Media Group Penza team, which had won the Third competition. We’ll see who wins this time! I hope our championship will once again be a vivid and interesting show, and the competitors will get a lot of positive emotions,” Pavel Polosin, editor-in-chief for PenzaNews agency, commented on the issue.

The winners will be awarded valuable prizes from “Rostelecom,” and the best bowling player will get the grand prize — a 40’ 3D-LED Full-HD Samsung TV.

In addition to that, the most distinguished players will get special presents from the championship partner, Bank Kuznetsky JSC.

Information support of the event will be provided by the first sports Internet service in the region — “Penza-Sport.com.”

The first bowling championship among employees of mass media of the Penza region was organized by news agency PenzaNews in 2010. Six teams took part in the competition then, each of which consisted of employees of one edition. The employees of broadcasting companies Nash Dom, Express, Penza, Zarechny, radio stations Dobrie Pesny and newspaper Penzenskaya Prava were among the participants of the tournament. Following the results of the competition, the first place was taken by Broadcasting Company Nash Dom, the second place was taken by the team of radio station Dobrie Pesny, and the third place was taken by Broadcasting Company Express.

The second summer bowling championship among the representatives of mass media of the Penza region took place in August 2011. Eight teams took part in it: Russkoe Radio, Masterskaya-TV, Penzenskaya Pravda, GTRK Penza, Broadcasting Company Zarechny, Penza-TV, Stary Val and Broadcasting Company Nash Dom. The team Russkoe Radio became the winner of the competition, the team Masterskaya-TV took the second place and the team Penzenskaya Pravda took the third place.

The third summer bowling championship among the representatives of mass media of the Penza region took place on August 24, 2012. Six teams competed at the event: among them were Broadcasting Company Express, GTRK Penza, Russkoe Radio, Penzenskaya Pravda and Pro Gorod newspapers, as well as the regional journalist team. The Pro Gorod team took the first place, while Penzenskaya Pravda editorial came second, and regional journalists got third. The best player of the championship was Daniil Pasechny, employee of the regional “Nasha Gazeta — Bessonovo News,” who received the grand prize, a Samsung netbook PC, from PenzaNews agency.

The forth summer bowling championship among the representatives of mass media was held on August 23, 2013. Five journalist teams competed for the grand prize: “RNTI – Media Group Penza” (members of Pro Gorod newspaper, Pod Kluch catalog and Vpenze.ru web portal), “Russia 1 – Penza” (GTRK Penza), “The Air Masters” (joint team of Avtoradio, Gold FM and Russkoe Radio stations), “Radio 101.8” (Broadcasting Company Nash Dom), “Panic Attack” (Penzenskaya Pravda newspaper), and the first-time player “BlogPost” joint blogger team, which earned the first place during the event. “RNTI – Media Group Penza” got the second place, and “Penzenskaya Pravda” came third. The best player of the championship was Ekaterina Antonova, member of “RNTI – Media Group Penza” team, who received a 10’ Samsung Galaxy Tab from “Rostelecom.”
