Penza, 28 July 2014. PenzaNews. Six athletes from the Penza region will perform at the European Championships in Aquatics, which will be held in Berlin on August 13-24.

As the press service of the regional sports committee told news agency “PenzaNews,” Dmitry Gorbunov, Ivan Trofimov, Sergei Fesikov, Viktoria Andreeva, Maria Astashkina and Viktoria Malyutina will represent the Penza region at the high-class championship.

“A total of 43 sportsmen, 29 men and 14 women, made it into the national team after the Russian Cup,” the agency said.

The press service reminded that during the last competitions, Penza athletes won 10 medals of various degrees.
