Penza, 11 April 2016. PenzaNews. The fan meeting of the Penza hockey club “Diesel” is scheduled for the late APril, announced the executive director of “Diesel” Vadim Bogatskov during the press conference held on Monday, April 11.

“We will hold the fan meeting after the end of the season in late April, before the end of the training camp,” he said.

According to the new head coach of “Diesel” Sergei Lopushansky, meeting fans is a crucial part of the work done by the coaches and the players.

“Our main objective is to bring fans back to our games, and we can do so only through victories and good skill. [...] We must chat, we must be friends, we must make our fans happy with our game,” he stressed.

In addition, the regional Minister of Physical Education and Sports Grigory Kabelsky announced during the press conference that the pre-season tournament “Diesel Cup,” which was skipped in the previous year, is scheduled to take place in August.
