Penza, 12 August 2016. PenzaNews. Renewed Sports Hall of Fame opened in Olimpiyskaya alley in Penza in the framework of events dedicated to the Day of the athlete, on Friday, August 12.

It presents 57 athletes, coaches and trainers who showed high results in their professional activities.

During the opening event corresponding certificates were awarded to 20 residents of the Penza region.

Continuing the sporting event, bicycle race, race on roller skates, and cross-country race were held.

In addition, everyone could take part in Nordic walking session, the press service of the regional government informed.
