“About 1.1 thousand crimes related to drug trafficking have been suppressed. More than 109 kg of prohibited substances were seized from illegal circulation, which is one and a half times more than in 2020. 43 drug couriers from 10 constituent entities of the Russian Federation have been identified,” the text says.

It states that over 700 illegal acts in the field of illegal production of alcoholic and alcohol-containing products were suppressed last year, 89 criminal cases were initiated, and 8,000 liters of surrogate alcohol were confiscated.

“The number of traffic accidents decreased by 2% and the number of people killed in them decreased by 23%. The ongoing work has stabilized the situation with accidents on the roads,” the press release says.
