Governor of Penza region announces cancellation of QR code system in region
Penza, 5 March 2022. PenzaNews. The QR code system in the Penza region, introduced earlier due to the coronavirus pandemic, has been canceled since March 5. This was announced by Governor Oleg Melnichenko via his Telegram channel.

“The situation with the incidence of coronavirus in the Penza region is gradually improving. I believe that the restrictions applied in the region should be lifted step by step,” he wrote on Saturday, March 5.
“Starting today, we are canceling the QR code system in the Penza region. However, wearing a mask is still required; it is also necessary to conduct thermometry at the entrance to the premises and use hand sanitizers,” the head of the region added.
Earlier, the authorities of the Penza region lifted the ban on holding mass events and restrictions on the occupancy limits of theaters, museums, galleries, cinemas and other institutions.
In addition, the requirement to observe social distance was abolished.
