Penza, 9 February 2022. PenzaNews. Anton Slepyshev, a trainee of the Penza hockey school, brought victory to the Russian team in the match with Switzerland at the XXIV Olympic Winter Games in Beijing.

The hockey player threw the puck into the opponent’s goal a few seconds before the end of the first period. As a result, it became the only one in the match.

In the second period, Anton Slepyshev headbutted a Swiss player and received a double minor penalty.

He later apologized to teammates for the four-minute suspension.

In the next match of the Olympic tournament, the Russian team will play with the Danes on February 11.
