Penza, 11 December 2015. PenzaNews. Dmitry Patrushev, board chairman of Rosselkhozbank, has paid a business visit to the Penza region. He met with the governor Ivan Belozertsev and took part in the signing of a trilateral cooperation agreement between the bank, DAMATE Group, and “RST-Trading.”
Following the agreement, the parties will join their forces over development of production and sales of export-oriented turkey meat products.
In particular, Rosselkhozbank intends to provide all kinds of expert support, including using loans and state insurance.
In turn, DAMATE Group will ensure production of turkey meet in accordance with all quality and safety norms and requirements, complete with forming warehouse stock.
At the same time, “RST-Trading” will take upon the task of shipping the products abroad.
In 2016, DAMATE Group plans to produce over 4,000 tons of turkey meat products for export, or about 8% of its turnout. In the future, the plans may go as high as 25% of total production volumes.
“Today, the objective for the Russian agrarian business is not to just export raw agricultural product, but conquer the foreign markets with great added value. Thus, we find it particularly important to support the enterprises able to create effective, highly marketable product facilities, and compete on international markets. This approach aims for long-term development of village areas, creation of jobs, and increase of regional tax base,” Dmitry Patrushev pointed out after the signing.
During the business meeting of the Rosselkhozbank board chairman and the Penza region government, the parties focused on the topic of cooperation under the agriculture development state program, discussed implementation process of several investment products, and had talks on potential for creating new production facilities in the region.
Rosselkhozbank in the Penza region has already invested approximately 91 billion rubles in regional economy development, over 70% of these funds directed to local agricultural companies. The bank has already provided about 9.9 billion rubles of loans for the construction a large-scale DAMATE Group poultry ranch, helping the enterprise to become one of the largest in the field.
