Penza, 30 December 2015. PenzaNews. Over 11,500 hectares of out-of-business farming lands were returned back to the Penza region agriculture in 2015 thanks to land clearance operations by local agricultural producers.

In particular, over 2,000 hectares of reclaimable lands returned to agriculture through reconstruction, re-equipment and setup of new amelioration systems.

The volumes of vegetable produce on agricultural lands increased by 31.9% under the ameliorative measures of the state program “Development of the Agricultural Complex in the Penza Region in 2014-2020,” says the press service of the regional Agriculture Ministry.
