Penza, 31 December 2015. PenzaNews. The Penza region was placed among the top 30 regions of Russia in milk production by agricultural organizations, based on its output in January-November 2015.

Based on the open-source statistics info provided by Rosstat, the Penza region took the 29th place in the rating with the production volumes of 140,600 tons.

The leader of the rating is Tatarstan, which produced 948,800 tons of milk over the designated period, followed by Krasnodarsky Krai and Udmurtia, with the outputs of 778,800 and 538,800 tons, respectively.

The Kemerovo region, where local farmers produced 139,300 tons of milk, holds the lowest position in the list.
