Penza regional agricultural complex received over 3 bln rubles state support in 2015

Penza, 5 April 2016. PenzaNews. The agricultural complex of the Penza region received over 3.3 billion rubles of state support in 2015, announced the governor Ivan Belozertsev in his report at the 34th regular session of the regional Legislative Assembly on Tuesday, April 5.

Over 80% of the funds came from the federal budget, he clarified.
“These measures helped agricultural producers involve over 20 billion rubles of loans in 2015,” stressed the head of the region.
However, as Ivan Belozertsev pointed out, certain risks still remain, such as unstable demand, issues with raw materials supply, and relatively low profitability.
“We will continue involving federal funds to support agricultural producers in the current year, and maintain our agriculture subsidizing levels achieved in 2015,” the Penza region governor assured.
