Penza, 5 July 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza branch of Rosselkhozbank began issueing loans for regional harvests.

The bank opened a credit line for 44 million rubles, which will be used for sugar beet harvests, the bank press service told PenzaNews.

“Our branch already financed seasonal works for 2.8 billion rubles in the region this year so far. Moreover, the bank actively helps agrarians improve their vehicles, increase livestock and implement modern technologies,” the press service noted.

According to Sergei Kochergin, director for the Penza branch of Rosselkhozbank, his institution remains the traditional partner of the agricultural field.

“The branch did a good job in funding sowings, and now begins funding harvests. We expect our cooperation and successful mutual work with agrarians to continue,” he stressed.

According to current information, the bank plans to provide at least 7 billion rubles for seasonal works in 2016.

Rosselkhozbank is the foundation of the Russian national credit and financial service system for the national agrarian business.

The bank, founded in 2000, is currently the key creditor in the Russian agricultural field. It is one of the largest and most stable Russian banks in regards to volume of active assets and capital stock, and among the leaders of reliability rating for the largest national banks.

The bank shares are 100% owned by the state.
