“In difficult weather conditions, under the supervision of mentors they harvest hay to be marketed to the population and legal entities. Over 130 tons of qualitative forage is mown and packed. Cultivation of vapors for crop production in 2017 on the area of 240 hectares is complete. Preparation of combine harvesters is in a completion stage,” the press service of the Ministry of Education of the Penza region reported to PenzaNews.

The department specified that the students are to thresh grain crops on the area of more than 400 hectares of college land and harvest grain on the area more than 500 hectares under contracts with heads of peasant farming.

“Students volunteers are also engaged in improvement of the territory of educational institution, take care of vegetables in the closed and open ground. The products will be used in student dining rooms,” the ministry explained.
