Agrarians of five Penza region areas start harvesting winter wheat

Penza, 19 July 2016. PenzaNews. Agrarians of five areas of the Penza region – Kolyshleysky, Lopatinsky, Maloserdobinsky, Neverkinsky and Tamalinsky - started harvesting winter wheat.

As the press service of the Penza region Ministry of Agriculture reported to the news agency PenzaNews, as of 18 July grain and pulse crops were harvested in the square of 418 hectares, 1 thousand 284 tons were grinded, the average harvesting capacity is 31 centners per hectare.
“On the territory of Mokshansky, Tamalinsky and Maloserdobinsky areas, agricultural goods producers are harvesting winter camelina. The crops were removed from the square of 893 hectares, the gross collection amounts to 748 tons, the average harvesting capacity is 8 centners per hectare,” the department added.
