Regional agricultural enterprises less likely to take loans this year

Penza, 29 August 2016. PenzaNews. Large and medium-sized agricultural enterprises of the Penza region are less likely to borrow from banks this year. This was announced by Governor Ivan Belozertsev during the meeting with the representatives of the credit and financial institutions, dedicated to the first half of 2016, which took place in the regional government on Monday, August 29.

“Many of our farmers — large and medium enterprises — are taking less loans from banks this year. I ask them when visiting: “Did you take loans to buy seeds, machines, additional fertilizing?” They say they used their own funds,” he said.
“This is great. It means, that the previous support, the technology and bank loans, which were used before, worked for good, and now they can do without them,” the head of the region added.
Ivan Belozertsev expressed the hope that the results of work of the regional agricultural enterprises this year will allow them giving up the loans.
