Penza, 26 January 2017. PenzaNews. A series of agronomic training seminars on agricultural development started in the Penza region.

The first to undergo training were farmers from the Neverkinsky and Kameshkirsky areas, who did it on Wednesday, January 25. The seminars were held by the head of the regional Ministry of Agriculture Andrey Burlakov.

During the training, he set tasks of this sector for the current year. Special attention was given to the development of crop production, in particular, to preparation to spring sowing season, and to ways of state support of the agricultural sector.

Bank representatives invited to the seminar told farmers about the mechanisms of concessional lending.

In addition, the speakers considered the programme activities for support of the development of family farms and agricultural cooperatives, the press service of the regional Ministry of Agriculture reports.
