Penza, 15 February 2017. PenzaNews. The number of agricultural sector workers of the Penza region increases for the first time in several years. This was reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Agriculture.

"In January-December 2016 the average number of workers employed in the agriculture and forestry sectors amounted to 38,258 persons, the increase to the 2015 year equaled to 4%. The increase can be explained by the fact that at present, agriculture becomes a more attractive sector for employment," the department noted.

The press service specified that last year the average monthly payment in this sector amounted to 22,986 rubles 40 kopeks, which is 5.6% more than a year before.
