Penza, 15 March 2017. PenzaNews. Penza region farmers started seasonal field works. This was reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Agriculture.

"Agricultural producers are conducting works on additional fertilizing of winter crops. As of March 14, 10 082 hectares of winter crops have been fertilized," the department specified.

The ministry added that in 2017 it is planned to increase the amount of fertilizers.

"We bought 18,000 tons of fertilizers for the following season, which is 68% more than last year," the press service noted.
