Sowing of sugar beet and barley starts in Penza region
Penza, 12 April 2017. PenzaNews. Farmers of the Penza region started sowing sugar beet and barley.

In 2017, sown areas in the region will amount to 1,374,200 hectares, which is more than the areas used last year – 1,343,000 hectares.
It is planned that technical crops will be sown at the territory of 386,000 hectares, while cereal and leguminous crops – at the territory of almost 758,000 hectares.
At present, it is planned to continue harrowing the soil and fertilizing crops in the Penza region, the press service of the regional Ministry of Agriculture informs.
