"In general, we plan to use slightly more than 40,000 tons of mineral fertilizers, and about 30,000 of them are planned to be used for spring field work," he said during the meeting with heads of urban districts and municipal areas administrations that was held via video conference on Tuesday, April 25.

Andrei Burlakov specified that the stock of mineral fertilizers in farms exceeds the volume of that of the previous year by 11%.

"We used fertilizers on the territory which is by 20,000 hectares larger than that of the last year," the minister added.
