Sowing of sugar beet concluded in Penza region
Penza, 23 May 2017. PenzaNews. Works on sowing sugar beet at the area of 60,000 hectares were concluded in the Penza region. This was reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Agriculture.

The department noted that the spring sowing in the region was conducted at the area of almost 812,000 hectares.
The area of 355,300 hectares was sown with spring grain and leguminous crops. Industrial crops were sown at the area of 362,700 hectares. Sunflower occupies 239,500 hectares," the press service specified.
The ministry stressed that the sowing campaign in the region is nearing completion.
