"Our task is to adopt their best technologies of potato cultivation [...], to buy planting material and equipment for small farms. It is cheaper and of a good quality," he said at the 45th regular meeting of the Legislative Assembly of the region on Friday, June 9, commenting on the results of the delegation's visit to Belarus.
According to Ivan Belozertsev, the equipment produced in the country would be suitable for farms that work at the territory of up to 1,500 hectares.
"They are ready to sell the equipment – the processing lines. These are small processing lines designed for potato – for their washing and packing. There are such lines in our country as well but all of them have been imported," the governor of the Penza region noted.
