Penza, 16 June 2017. PenzaNews. 21,000 hectares of unused agricultural land has been put into circulation in the Penza region since the beginning of 2017.

As it was reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Agriculture, previously over 1,500 hectares of land was covered with trees and bushes.

"The largest areas were put into circulation in the territory of the Belinsky, Bessonovsky, Kameshkirsky, Shemysheysky and Nizhnelomovsky areas," the department noted.

The press service specified that in 2017 it is planned to put into circulation 50,000 hectares of unused land.
