The event was held at the premises of LLC “Dubrovki” in the Spassky area, uniting over 200 farmers and representatives of agribusiness from Mordovia, the Penza, Nizhny Novgorod, Ryazan and Ulyanovsk regions.
As the director of the region “North” of Syngenta company told PenzaNews, the event was first organized in 2013, and it is held in this place for the fifth time, and each year the program gets more refined, becoming richer and more interesting. At the same time, Syngenta strives to make the event not only useful but enjoyable too.
The field town, according to many participants, is an effective form of interaction between the company and its existing and potential customers. Instead of giving long explanations about the effect of this or that product or advantages of particular hybrids, managers can immediately demonstrate the result directly in the field in real conditions.
This format gave the participants an opportunity to get acquainted with protection systems for crops, sugar beet, maize and sunflower of Syngenta company, including the well-proven “Select Top” insectofugnicide and the novelty of the season – “Select Maz” cereal crop seed disinfectant.
According to the experts, these innovative products provide reliable protection for future plants from pests, diseases and abiotic stresses.
In the “Seed treatment” section, the customers were shown the advantages of the finished incestofungicide products over tank mixtures. In the “Diagnostics” section, sheaves brought by the participants were viewed. The experts helped to make a diagnosis, as well as confirm or confute concerns related to phytosanitory and predict the future of the crop.
Equally interesting were the sunflower and maize sections, where the people learned what mistakes should be avoided, how to set up a sprayer to maximize the efficiency of a product, and what “the no-return” point is.
Syngenta experts showed and told the guests about the development of strategy on field crops to achieve high profitability and gave professional advice on optimal timing of the product use.
They stressed the need to control harmful objects not in a specific culture but in the crop rotation system. The experts of Syngenta company recommend an integrated approach to plant protection against diseases, pests, and weeds and an individual solution for each field. They guarantee farmers both expected yields and return on investment.
Syngenta company will open the gates of the town again this year. In the autumn, the results of this season will be demonstrated, namely, hybrids of maize, sunflower and sugar beet.
