Decrease in volume of egg production observed in Penza region
Penza, 19 August 2018. PenzaNews. Over 165 million eggs were produced in the Penza region from January to July 2018, which makes up 92% of the previous year when the target of only 180 million eggs had been reached.

The largest decline is observed in agricultural organizations – from 104 million eggs over the first seven months of 2017 to 85 million eggs over the same period of 2018 (81.7%).
Households also produced fewer eggs: last year the figure exceeded 65 million eggs, this year it amounted to just over 64 million.
At the same time, farms and individual entrepreneurs increased the production in seven months of the current year – over 16 million eggs were produced instead of less than 11 million (the increase of 154.1%).
