Penza, 29 July 2019. PenzaNews. Over 385,000 tons of grain were ground in the Penza region. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the region on Monday, July 29.

The average yield of grain and leguminous crops in the region is 25 centners per hectare.

According to the latest data, 303,000 tons of winter wheat, 2,700 tons of winter rye, 455 tons of winter triticale, 2,100 tons of spring wheat, 35,900 tons of barley, 2,200 tons of oats and 27,000 tons of peas were ground.

Technical crops – winter false flax and mustard – were harvested from the area of 508 hectares.
