Penza, 27 August 2019. PenzaNews. Farmers of the Penza region ground over 1.5 million tons of grain.

"Gross harvest of grain and leguminous crops amounted to 1,527,000 tons," the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the region told PenzaNews on Tuesday, August 27.

The ministry specified that the average yield of cereals and legumes reached 25 centners per hectare.

As it was previously reported by PenzaNews, it is expected to harvest about 1.75 million tons of grain and legumes in Penza region in 2019.
