Penza, 27 November 2019. PenzaNews. Rusgrain Company plans to ship three batches of sunflower and rapeseed oil from Penza to China with a total weight of 2,150 tons, worth about $3 million, on Friday, November 29. This was announced by the press service of the regional Ministry of Agriculture.

"The oil will be transported in flexitanks, each of which holds 21.5 tons of oil," the ministry specified.

The press service noted that that shipment was unique for Russian-Chinese container transportation.

The Ministry explained that the oil would be sent by the single international route: first, a train of 100 containers will deliver it to Vladivostok, where the cargo will be divided into three lots in the port – to the cities of Shanghai, Chongqing and Qingdao.

"LLC Rusgrain has exported four shipments since August 26, 2019: one shipment of 1,000 tons of sunflower oil to China, as well as three shipments of rapeseed oil with a total volume of 1,000 tons to Europe," the Ministry of Agriculture of Penza region added.
