Penza, 15 July 2020. PenzaNews. 207 700 tons of livestock and poultry for slaughter in live weight were produced in Penza region in January-June 2020, which is 12.6% more than in the same period of 2019. This was evidenced by data of Penzastat.

Agricultural organizations produced 94.2% of the total – 195 700 tons. Growth to the first half of 2019 amounted to 13.7%.

The share of households in the total volume was 5%. They accounted for 10 400 tons of products, which is 3.1% less than in January-June last year.

Farms and individual entrepreneurs produced 1 600 tons of cattle and poultry for slaughter in the first half of 2020, the volume decreased by 1%. The share of such producers in the total volume was 0.8%.
