Penza, 28 July 2020. PenzaNews. Farmers from all areas of Penza region started the harvesting campaign. This was reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Agriculture.

“More than 242 000 tonnes of grain have been threshed,” the agency said, adding that the average yield of grain and leguminous crops was 31kg per hectare.

The press service specified that 186.8 thousand tonnes of winter wheat, 1.5 thousand tonnes of winter rye, 41.4 thousand tonnes of barley and 12.5 thousand tonnes of peas had been threshed.
