Penza, 17 August 2020. PenzaNews. 241 600 tonnes of livestock and poultry for slaughter in live weight was produced in Penza region in January-July 2020, which is 11.2% more than in the same period of 2019. This was evidenced by data of Penzastat.

In the first seven months of this year, agricultural organizations produced 94.4% of the total volume – 228 100 tonnes. Growth to the same period of 2019 was 12.1%.

The share of private households in the total volume was 4.8%. They accounted for 11 700 tonnes of products, which is 3.1% less than in January-July last year.

Farms and individual entrepreneurs produced 1 800 tons of cattle and poultry for slaughter in seven months of 2020, the volume decreased by 1.2%. The share of such producers in the total volume was 0.8%.
