Penza, 21 January 2021. PenzaNews. About 384 300 tons of milk were produced in Penza region in 2020, which is 11.6% more than in 2019. Such information was published by Penzastat on Thursday, January 21.

More than a half of the total volume – about 22.5 thousand tons, or 55% – was produced by agricultural organizations. The growth compared to the previous year was 22.5%.

Private households showed a decline: in 2020, they produced about 118 200 tons of milk, which is 1.8% less than a year earlier. Their share in the total volume was 30.8%.

The share of peasant farms and individual entrepreneurs accounted for 14.2%. Last year they produced about 54 600 tons of milk, an increase of 6.3%.
